Hi everyone. This is probably going to be a short entry today because I haven't done too much! Last night I fell asleep watching season 2 of "Grey's Anatomy". (It is pretty good, but it isn't "House"!) For some spooky reason, I woke up at 3:05am. That is the time that Michael was supposed to be leaving Almaty. Today I slept in, then watch several more episodes before I finally convinced myself that I need to get out for a short walk. I went to the Ramstore for some water, bananas (don't' worry Sarah, they will be gone before you get here!) and even a box of fake KD! I managed not to embarrass myself by staying well away from the beer bottles, although I was tempted to get a bottle of Efes (Kaz beer) for Sarah to try. Sorry, Sarah, maybe next time! I still had time on my hands before I had to leave for the baby house, so I decorated one of Matthew's little shirts for Michael (see photos). Matthew gave me lots of smiles today, but he kept looking towards the door as if he was waiting for Michael to walk in any moment. He was more quiet than usual too. That is until I tried to wash his face or wipe his nose. Then he let me know he didn't appreciate my efforts! Since tomorrow is Saturday, that means a 10-12 am visit. So I had better not stay up too late tonight. Besides, I finished season 2 a few minutes ago! Tomorrow we (Annette and Seriah!) are planning a pot luck. Sad to say, but we will be saying good-bye to Maegan, Tony and Taylor. They leave for Almaty on Sunday. I am happy for them because they are closer to being home, but will miss them. We've all become pretty close over here! On Sunday, the rest of us (those that know and we will fill the rest in tomorrow!) are planning to go to a book store that was just recommended to me via a couple who replied on our blog! Apparently they went when they were here earlier this year and found children's books that had stories in English, Russian and Kazakh in one book! I am very excited about this. Hopefully they have lots and we don't have to fight over them!!!!! Anyway, that is about all. Oh, except the ride home. Today my driver asked if he could take a detour for an errand, would take only 10 minutes. What could I do, I said yes. We ended up somewhere I had never been but couldn't have been far from the baby house. (I was busy looking up how to say tomorrow morning.) He said it was a police station. Of course my over active imagination goes into overdrive. By the way Tony and Maegan, thanks for putting the idea of death filled hostels in my head! It turn out that my driver had to get a new licence plate! Okay, picture time. One more thing, please, please, someone tell Michael to call to let me know he got home safely. I don't care what time it is. I am going crazy with my overactive imagination. I don't know how you at home did it when we traveled over here! Sarah, you might have to do updates from Frankfurt! I was hoping Michael would, but maybe the troubles we had last time made him leery! Okay, really, this time pictures!
I think this says it all!
Matthew looking at photos of Daddy!

He was excitedly banging on Michael's photo!
Doesn't he have a guilty expression on his face! He had been chewing on the camera bag strap just before this photo!

I caught him mid flop! What a look of concentration!

Mom and Matthew, we look happy in spite of missing Daddy. (Maybe because he had just had his juice!)
